Our Story

We started out with one courier in 2008 needing an LLC to do one route. Now there are several of us and several routes.

Our name comes from an anime club a few of us were members of in Sumter, SC between 2007-2011 called SARM.

When our routes starting growing, we needed more drivers, and that forced us to think about how everything was going to function.

Like the anime club and house collectives we created, we used direct democracy and gave ourselves equal pay for equal work. We did that in order to align with our ideals.

By 2019, we realized that it needed to become more official.

We signed contracts to establish ourselves as a worker co-op, but in 2024, we joined the USFWC (US Federation of Worker Co-Ops) to make sure we were doing everything correctly.

We’d like to continue growing, adding routes, helping more customers, and giving drivers opportunities.

We’re based out of Columbia, SC, but we make deliveries in Georgia, the Carolinas, and Florida.
